Thanksgiving Salad Recipe

Full of those fall flavors we all love so much, this Thanksgiving salad recipe is super simple, refreshing and beyond delicious!

Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 5 oz Arugula lettuce
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries (craisins)
  • 1 apple thinly sliced
  • 1 cup pecans candied
  • 1/3 cup feta cheese crumbled
Balsamic Vinaigrette Recipe
  • 1/4 cup Olive oil
  • 4 tbsp Balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
Candied Pecans
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp water

Method
 

Candied walnuts or pecans
  1. In a non stick saucte pan melt butter and mix in the walnuts or pecans.
  2. Add sugar and mix all together so that every nut is covered in sugar evenly
  3. Add the water to help loosen the sugar and butter mixture. You don't need a lot of water, you just want it to combine easily
  4. Once every piece is evenly candied, transfer to parchement paper and lay flat until cooled.
Balsamic Vinaigrette
  1. Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until you get a smooth and creamy consitency.
  2. Drizzle over your assembled salad just before serving.
