Candied walnuts or pecans
- In a non stick saucte pan melt butter and mix in the walnuts or pecans.
- Add sugar and mix all together so that every nut is covered in sugar evenly
- Add the water to help loosen the sugar and butter mixture. You don't need a lot of water, you just want it to combine easily
- Once every piece is evenly candied, transfer to parchement paper and lay flat until cooled.
Balsamic Vinaigrette
- Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until you get a smooth and creamy consitency.
- Drizzle over your assembled salad just before serving.
